Weekend

This past week I've had alot of tests and semi alot of homework. It has also been kinda exciting. The highlight of the past week was getting Jonas Brother tickets. This is going to be my fourth time seeing them. I get to go with my sister Brianna and my mom. We are also going with close family friends Ms. Lynn and Isabelle, Isabelle is like my little sister and this is going to be her first concert and its her favorite band. She is super excited and can't stop talking about it. When she found out she was screaming and already had paper and markers out to make signs when we got to her house and the concert isn't until July 26th, three months away. She was also planning out the whole day of the concert. All my mom and Ms. Lynn is worrying about is learning the music and getting us there. My mom keeps saying when you think you don't know the song SOS, you do.

But I can't wait for the weekend. It's going to be busy but fun. Tonight I might be seeing the movie The Haunting in Connecticut with some of my friends, I hope because some of my friends are too scared to see the movie and won't go. But I love scary movies and my sister all ready saw so she wouldn't be able to go with me & my brother is two years younger then me and will not see it. I'm not going to the movies by myself :)

This weekend I also have to finish my cultural event! I also have have to finish the questions on the map worksheet for Mrs. Bergeski which won't take me that long. Other than that I have no other homework and finished most of it at school.

My Dad

On January 19th my dad had a seizure. It was really scary, it was his first one in over 7 years. I was in a shower at the time and my sister and mom were downstairs. My brother was getting up from the couch to do his homework and brother, Josh, looked at my dad and my dad was looking at the back door. Josh then asked what he was staring at and my dad fell to the floor and started shaking. I of course didnt know what was going on because I wasnt in the room at the time. But my brother was screaming and yelling and pounding on the bathroom door yelling my moms name. It scared me. Josh thought I was my mom. I thought that maybe my brother got hurt, and my mom who was downstairs thought he was in an argument with my dad but didnt know why he would be screaming or anything. Josh is two years younger then me and saw the whole thing! When my mom came upstairs she saw my dad and called 911. I came running out of the bathroom a few minutes later and could hear sirens coming down the street. My mom was trying to get my dad to wake up.
" Wake up Kenny, you need to wake up." she said.
When i went into the living room my sister and brother were crying and the coffee table was moved by the back door. The EMT guys came inside and was trying to get my dad conscious. Once he did he was trying to fight off the EMT guys still unsure what was going on. My dad wasnt listening so they had to put him on a stretcher. Once again my dad was being stubburn still unsure what was going on and wouldnt lay flat he kept going on his side.
This whole thing was really scary for me because me and my dad had a fight before it happen and I felt like it was my fault.
We visited him later at the hospital and around 11 we left. My grandparents stayed with them till 2 AM and surprisingly he was allowed to come home. My grandparents told us that when they were taking him home my dad yelled at them and told them to go a different way and he told them to go alll the way back to our old house. & my grandma asked what his address was and my dad replied saying which one?
He still can't remember the whole night and he didnt have a great memory afterwards either. The whole experience was really scary especially my brother who witnessed the whole thing.

Entertainment Month

The month of January was my entertainment month. On January 5th it was my birthday, I saw the musical Hairspray, a Jonas Brother concert and The Killers concert. I saw the Jonas Brothers and The Killers in the same week! Only four days apart.

On January 10th I got to see the musical comedy Hairspray with my mom, my sister, and my aunt at the Fox Theatre. We were main floor center. I got the Hairspray tickets for a Christmas present from my mom and my aunt. Hairspray was the second musical/play I've seen. The first one I saw was the Phantom of the Opera.

On January 19th I went to my 3rd Jonas Brother concert at Joe Louis Arena. It was a charity concert for the Auto Show. I got to go with my friend Mira and Emily. I didn't pay for the $400 tickets, my friend got the tickets through a Jonas Brother fansite. They weren't the closest seats that I've ever gotten for a concert but I still got to see them. My first time seeing them was on December 5th, 2007 while they were on tour with Hannah Montana. My second time seeing them was on February 23rd, 2008 when they were on tour with the band Rooney.

Four days after the Jonas Brother concert I got to see my 2nd favorite band The Killers. It was my first time seeing them and I got to see them with of my friend Haley and her mom. We were third row on the side of the stage.

January was my entertainment month.
